Last week, a kid near my home asked me how to bring an avatar like that? Now, I’m going to tell you how to achieve that using Gravatar. In case if you have already known this, my apologies to you, I have to cover all the people ranging from novice to expert here. OK. Let’s come to the topic.
What does mean by Gravatar?
Your Gravatar (known as a “Globally Recognized Avatar”) is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog.
It is enabled by default for the following services such as,
For other blogging services such as Blogger, LiveJournal, MovableType, WordPress and for many forums, Gravatar can be implemented by using free plug-ins. To create a Gravatar account, visit http://gravatar.com/ Sign up with your e-mail id & upload the image, then rate it. Voila, your Gravatar is ready. Gravatar works based on your e-mail. If a site owner enabled Gravatar option means whenever you enter your e-mail while commenting, relevant Gravatar will be displayed along with your comment ![]()
